Job Description:

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for proactively keeping Client websites compliant with specific OEM brand standards each month, keeping internal knowledge base articles up-to-date with evolving OEM brand guidelines and providing superior customer service. This is an entry-level position, located in the Headquarters office (Rockville, MD).

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for proactively keeping sites compliant with specific OEM brand standards each month.
  • Submits new and existing sites for review every month.
  • Work to achieve approvals on website submissions each month.
  • Conducts outreach to customers for compliance related updates, removal of non-compliant material, informing them of compliance rules, etc.
  • Deliver compliance guideline updates to Manager of OEM & Compliance.
  • Answers questions and shares knowledge with the company as a compliance liaison for specific OEM brands.
  • Build knowledge base articles for updated OEM guidelines for internal staff to refer to.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • High school graduate with 1+ year(s) in technology customer service-related field.
  • Solid attention to detail, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to balance demands and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with managing projects, time management and multi-tasking.
