Web Project Consultant

Job Description:

The Web Project Consultant guides new clients through the process of developing websites from start to finish. This role will be tasked with managing client relationships and projects while providing consultative advice for improving a dealership's web presence, conversion rate, and SEO. You are expected to communicate professionally with clients to develop their new website. You are expected to verify that all appropriate tasks and steps have been completed prior to launching the client's website. This role reports to the Manager of Implementation, and works closely with both the Implementation Coach and the Design Team to develop their skills continuously. This is a mid-level position in the Headquarters location (Rockville, MD).

Essential Functions:

  • Communicate with clients directly through duration of the on-boarding and set up process.
  • Consult and guide clients towards our best practices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to successful deliver the product within our average build cycles.
  • Continually review projects for quality control.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through the on-boarding and set up process.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • High school graduate
  • Two years of prior experience in website content management.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers/business partners over the phone and through email.
  • Ability to thrive in a fluid environment where priorities shift day-to-day, and in some cases, hour-by-hour.
  • Skilled in Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Familiarity with responsive design.
  • Ability to hand code compliant HTML and CSS utilizing Dreamweaver, Sublime Text or Notepad ++.
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • College degree or equivalent training.
  • Expertise in a dynamic environment.
  • Start-up environment experience.
  • Professional experience in building and maintaining client relationships, and mitigating conflict.
